Hello my friends!
The new Shovel Shack (shovelshack.org) is still in the early stages of development. I decided to make the jump before I got everything in order for a simple reason: Nothing would ever get in order until we moved in. Why? Because that's the way I get around to things. But most of you probably know that about me already, don't you? 
Yeah, I'm one of those squeaky-wheel-gets-the-oil kind of people. Otherwise, there are other things to take my attention. When something is needed, I find a reason to do it.
Anyhow, if you need help figuring out how to do things, just ask. If I can't get to it in time, I'm sure Bill (BrokenLink) would gladly jump in and help out ... as he's already a little familiar with the Drupal setup (that's the application I'm using for both theshovel.net and shovelshack.org.
Please, just ask!

Hello-I just found your website. These are the discussions I enjoy having.
I have been searching alot lately because I am a believer and I desire to grow in Christs love and wisdom, however I am feeling tired of the "rituals" and putting God inside a Sunday morning box. I know there is so much more to this relationship and I want to live fully in Christ and not simply going through these motions. I'm sure you all understand what I am saying here. Anyway, I look forward to participating in many good discussions and I just wanted to introduce myself. DJ (I am a girl) :)

Yeah, I've been using Drupal 6 on theshovel.net for about 2 years now. The new Shack is running on Drupal 7. I've already given it a couple attempts, but I can't fully convert the Drupal 6 site until either a few more modules are updated or I make a few changes to make up for the missing features. Anyhow, I love Drupal. It's funny you call me hardcore, because I decided to try Drupal after reading that it was difficult to learn.
Each new version is getting more user-friendly, though.
Well, I think Sherri is waiting for me again. I hope you will encourage all of us on the Shack with some good news.

participating in good discussions here .... especially discussions deemed 'good' by those involved in them anyway ... can be great fun, stimulating, thought-provoking, etc. It is so much more refreshing to hear, read about and speak about the truly good news of Christ
as opposed to all the various religious flavors of the same ol' not-so-good conditional-love kind of 'news' over and over again. blcht

I was wondering if you could look at installing the mobile plugin, so that the site will format easier to read and post in my phone's browser. I know, it's as if you didn't already have enough things to tweak and do around the house and the site!

Without a mobile phone to test this on — yeah, really
— I don't know how any changes may or may not affect things for you. I chose the theme I did because it's supposed to be "mobile first" ... however, I think the setting I had may have altered that. Tell me if anything has changed for the better or worse ... or no change. We'll continue from there.
